Monica enjoys covering human interest stories and has a passion for delving into social issues and breaking news. 

She gained experience working as a multimedia news reporter for Newsquest including; News Shopper, The Argus, Your Local Guardian, Wimbledon Times and more. Whilst working at Newsquest, Monica could often be found commentating on Riverside Radio before she launched the company’s first ever news podcast. 

In September 2021, Monica joined the  Daily Star to focus on breaking exclusives that both entertain and inform their audience across the globe. She was then asked to use her expertise to help Reach PLC launch its first social led youth brand Curiously Media, where she produced and presented news and entertainment content. Monica is currently working as a news reporter for The Mirror.
